Image Colorizer is a cross platform tool that lets you add color to black and white photos whether using the online tool, Windows or Mac programs or apps for both Android and iOS.
We’ve written before about colorizing black and white images. Here’s a new tool that’s fast, easy to use, and is available across multiple platforms.
Test results on a variety of images were excellent overall. Skin tones are rendered accurately while photos with lots of architectural detail or complicated backgrounds were rendered clearly but with less color. A few images had small patches of color and at times the AI powered colorization process occasionally rendered the wrong color on fabric.
Images are cleared every 24 hours to protect privacy, and a check the next day showed the images were unavailable.
If you have any black and white photos that could use some color, give Image Colorizer a try, it’s quite good.
